Bee County Crime Stoppers, Inc. was organized in 2006 as a certified Crime Stoppers program by Texas Crime Stoppers, and a 501 (c)(3) organization. In 2011 Bee County Crime Stoppers expanded to include Goliad and Live Oak Counties, and was renamed Coastal Bend Crime Stoppers, Inc.
