Judy Ranalli, president of Coastal Bend Crime Stoppers, would like to thank everyone who participated in the National Night Out County wide block party held in front of the courthouse in year's past.
"Thank you to all who manned a booth; made snow cones; donated money and equipment; handed out drinks and popcorn; Rosie the Clown for your wonderful balloon creations; the color guards over the years; Daniel Hinojosa for delivering the Pledge of Allegiance in English and Spanish; Anna Maria and Michael Silvas along with their family for cooking those delicious hot dogs; the civic organizations who participated; organizers of the health fairs; Angel Care; the county's volunteer fire departments; Kicker 106 and "Big Dan", who served as Master of Ceremonies; the bands; dance studios; HEB, and everyone else who donated food items; the Bee Picayune's reporters for your articles and pictures; the Country Club Golf Course for donating two life saving golf carts; Commissioner's Court and Judge Moreno; City Council and the mayor; members of the Crime Stopper's board; the city police officers; the deputies, especially those willing to sit in the dunk tank; Road and Bridge for all your help; the city's clean up crews; Chief Deputy Ronnie Jones for your support; former Chief Joe Trevino, who was the inspiration to take the ceremony to a new level; my family and friends for your help, including my late son Nick, who designed our NNO shirts; and finally to everyone in the community who came out to enjoy our time together!
